Bharat Scouts and Guides

The Bharat Scouts and Guides is a voluntary, non political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed in accordance with the purpose, principles and methods conceived by the founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907.

The purpose of the movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as responsible citizens and as member of local national, and international communities.

The Scout unit was established in Army Public School Yol Cantt on 1st Sep 2010. Total 32 students were enrolled in the unit.

APS Yol Camp participated in adventure camp for seven days which was organised by Bharat Scout and Guide National Adventure Institute , Pachmarhi (MP).

The Scout unit is no more existing in the school.

NCC

NCC was started in Army Public School Yol Cantt w.e.f 10 Nov 2016. School's NCC troop is under 5 HP(I) COY NCC Dharamshala. Total 100 cadets are enrolled in the current academic session.

Two batches comprising of 100 cadets have passed 'A' certificate exam in last two years.
